About Us

Welcome to This 'n That Too!
When you purchase something from us, you become part of a family experience. We grow and harvest what we can on our northwest Ohio homestead and get other seasonal fruits and vegetables and fresh ingredients locally. We use family recipes, some passed down through generations.
We started our home-based business in 2013 as a new adventure in retirement and a labor of love. I love to cook and Larry loves me (especially when I am happy in the kitchen) and we have a family that loves to taste-test!
Choosing a name was a challenge and we "tried on" a few at first. Eventually the business named itself: Whenever asked what we sell, the answer always started with - you guessed it - "a little of this and a little of that."
It all started with Kim's Peanut Brittle and Nancy's Carnival Corn. Then came jams, jellies, Elaine's Salsa and other condiments such as Candied Jalapeno and Garlic Relish and Kim's Homemade Ketchup. Larry's Kracker Jax became an instant hit, as did Blake's Spicy Pretzels.
We also specialize in homemade breads, in both mini- and full-size loaves. Daughter Cathy takes orders for delicious cookies, cupcakes and cakes. The cake recipe comes from her godmother, Deb, and the cookie recipe was shared with me by my Aunt Madonna.
The rest of our blended family (Dominic, Zach, Blake, Cortney, Paul, Jeremy, Rachel, Alayna, Shawn, Rebecca, Morgan, Emily, Ryan, Lindsay, Jaxon and Luc) serve important roles in the Research and Development Department: sampling products and giving brutally honest reviews, as children will!
Our products that are named after family and friends honor those recipe providers and keep us rooted in love. We are so happy to share them with you.
